About Camp Mundo Vista

ABOUT

Since 1969 Camp Mundo Vista has provided a mountain top experience for our guest groups and campers.  Our mission is to be a special place that encourages spiritual growth and missions involvement through a camp experience.

Our camp facility has a beautiful view of the Uwharrie Mountains. We offer a week of summer camp for girls, a week of summer day camp for boys and girls, and rent space for retreats and camps year round, primarily serving churches and other nonprofit organizations. WMUNC also conducts several events throughout the year. Our modern lodging and meeting spaces are well equipped to meet the needs of any group. We can host groups as small as 20 and as large as 200. Our guest services team is excited to support your group through our ministry of hospitality.

HISTORY

Mundo Vista was dedicated in June of 1969 as a ministry of The Woman’s Missionary Union of North Carolina (WMUNC) to be used as a Christian summer camp for Girls in Action, Acteens, and as a Retreat facility for supporting missions and ministry of churches and nonprofit ministries.

Since February 1, 2019 WMUNC has entered into a Management Agreement with Caraway Conference Center and Camps. Caraway now operates the facilities and summer camp programs at Camp Mundo Vista.
